THE CHALLENGE: PERFORMANCE IN DEMANDING COASTAL ENVIRONMENTS

Aquaculture, commercial operators, and serious sportsmen require a compact, highly durable vessel capable of enduring high-impact environments while maintaining stability and low upkeep. The challenge was to build a heavy-duty, versatile platform sub-16 feet that avoids the degradation common to composite hulls—such as rotting, delamination, water absorption, or chipping—while meeting rigorous marine transport standards.

THE ABCO SOLUTION

We engineered the 16′ Sport/Work Boat using rugged, welded marine-grade aluminum construction to deliver a heavy-duty design with a high strength-to-weight ratio. Built explicitly for structural longevity, the vessel features integrated stern, mid, and bow seats, internal flotation for safety, a robust PVC rub rail with stainless fasteners, and a stem tow lug with 3 tie-up bars. This design results in an agile, high-impact-resistant solution suitable for diverse commercial utilities.
